How to play:

The goal of Fairy Nook is to make Mathin the Rabbit walk from the beginning of each side-scrolling level to the end. This is done by creating horizontal or vertical matches of three or more items on the game board. To make a match, the player must click and drag an item into place alongside at least two other identical items. The side-scrolling level is rendered in the middle of the screen; the game board with the items surrounds the side-scrolling level.

Normal matches make Mathin walk forward; matches of springs make him jump forward; matches of bonus items enable him to pick up the bonus items when they're in his path.

Some items are locked in place. To break the chain holding them in place, the player must include the item in a match.

Matching certain items powers up magic spells. When the spell is fully powered, it can be used by clicking on the spell's icon and then clicking the appropriate location on the game board. For example, to create a spring, the player must match enough springs to fill up the spell's icon, click on the icon and then clicking a spot on the game board. This can allow the player make Mathin jump when there are no potential spring matches on the screen.
